With 10 kids at least one would be pay check challenged. The ACA saved the challenged one life with medical care for his heart. Before that he received treatment for a torn Achilles (9 month recovery), one other reasons for being pay check challenged. At 76 I am so glad I don’t have to worry about his health care.

By the way, I worked as a consultant for a few years and remember the impossible terms of health insurance back then. You were on a policy that renewed each year. If you got cancer then at the renewal time they would drop you for a pre existing condition. What a scam. I was lucky but many people were not and lost coverage when they needed it most.
