Wishful thinking about what consumers will support will not lead to progress. Your analysis of EV pollution relative to gas does not consider the use cases of commercial driving such as delivery vans, Uber, police… where 10% of vehicles consume 30% of gas. Nor the current evolution of batteries to lower cost solutions like influit where all materials can be sourced locally. Sure mass transit is better but only if used. I see many buses running empty. Why not have self driving vehicles on call. More use, shared resource so far fewer vehicles built.

Good luck but realistic steps to oil free and optimal transportation infrastructure needs plans that evolve to better, although to vision for an end goal is good.
