Why fusion here. We have a perfectly fine fusion reactor (the sun). Solar wind and grid storage gets cheaper every year. We have yet to tap geothermal and we are learning more efficient use of energy (heat pumps, high efficiency EV, inductive cook tops, recycled steel with 75% less energy, processing iron into steel in seconds, processing Li with 90% less water….
Well go ahead and make fusion work, we will find a use for it if cheaper than the free one in the skye.
