We in the US are determined to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Could we have cheap grid batteries from EV car batteries. We could have but no longer likely with Trump. Musk will promote that but the JFK jr mind set will win out. So forget your technology trends, it is society trends that will dictate EV evolution.
