Two Si valley companies , Amprius and Lyten, began pilot production of batteries with 2x the range and same price ( my guess) as a battery with 300 mile range. So assuming the batteries are qualified by manufacturers is 2 years I guess all EV could have 600 mile range. So much lower price and weight. Maybe BMW, Mercedes and Tesla will use one of the new batteries.
