The scale of loss of heat and electric power seems large enough that GDP will fall, worker shortages may disrupt all logistics, illness will increase. Maybe this is routine and Russians have the ability to still function. I am imagining how this would affect the U.S. Like Texas loss of power for a few weeks, the temperature was warmer and loss of heat perhaps shorter.
