The production of gas requires more electricity in 4 gallons of gas then an EV uses driving 100 miles. Assuming average of 25 miles per gallon, converting to EV will lower electrical demand.

Most EV vendors are shifting to LFP batteries. Range 250 miles. Expected life 1,000,000 miles. Why? 1. Cheaper as they use iron and phosphate plus lithium. 2. No conflict material.

Semi truck EV are expected to save $20,000 per year in fuel and maintenance costs. The premium price paid off intwo years , with the $20,000 per year saving continue for the life of the truck. Conversion to EV for light vehicles in commercial use (delivery vans, urber, police) by 2028 EV will reduce transportation costs by $300 Billion per year.

New battery technology is trending to 600 mile range for same price as today with locally sourced materials and 90% recovery of old batteries
