The article states nuclear power plants can not quickly ramp power . For point of view from serving in the nuclear navy, that is not an accurate statement. Going from 5% power to 80% can be quite fast.

The bigger point is hidden. Yes the path to perfect 0% emissions is progressively harder. Todays technology wind solar and battery is cheaper for many use cases. The economics will drive >50% growth rates as those niche cases are covered. In the mean time technology investments will decrease cost, expanding the market for clean energy. Support investments in both current products where they are cost effective and R&D for technology progress.
