Tesla is not investing the same percentage in R and D and manufacturing. Which is why the rest of the industry is catching up and passing.
That’s ok.

By the way new LFP batteries with fast charge of 250 miles in 10 minutes suggests apartment households that don’t have on site easy to use charging could have an alternative. Build high speed charging aimed at apartment households holds with low cost electric power to jump start EV demand in that market segment.

Or offer a carport with solar panels and grid batteries. Free EV power for about $80 a month (to pay for solar and grid battery over 15 years).
