For lower priced EVs Tesla and most venders use LFP batteries. Lower range but also lower cost. Tesla $25000 EV and GM low cost Bolt revision are both planning to use CATL LFP battery. In 2023 the CATL LFP battery was upgraded with 10% longer range, wider temperature range and supports fast charging of 250 miles in 10 minutes. Cheaper better in 2025. I wonder what’s coming in 2027.
