Lower CO2 for steel production has led to lower cost steel production, in ways besides lower energy use.

Last point the excepted life of LFP batteries is 1,200,000 miles today. Soon batteries will have an expected life of 5,000,000 miles. So in both cases the EV battery is recycled whole into the next EV. Soon on EV battery will support 20 new EVs. Of course that is about 200 years.
Or use the EV battery for grid storage….
