Panasonic announced they are building out manufacturing in Nevada using silicon nano particles from Sila. High volume production is expected in 2026 with faster charging, longer life and 20% longer range.
Sila road map includes upgrading their nano particles to offer 40% more range by about 2033. Sila manufacturing is in Washington state.
One of their competitors is Group14 technologies also has manufacturing in Washington state.
