One of the biggest lies environmental impact etc rare earth materials etc

First there is a strong trend to LFP and sodium batteries. There are more LFP batteries than NMC. Sodium batteries performance has, in lab, exceeded LFP watt hours/ kg.

The environmental impact of EV batteries is declining quickly. The environmental impact statements need to include projections today, 5 years and 10.

Gasoline and diesel consume 50% of oil. So 100% shift to EV in light vehicles and heavy trucks oil consumption continues at 50% lower then today’s consumption.

..Same mileage same fuel weight…. Guessing you mean range. If you charge at home every night, wake to full charge, who cares as 100% of your range needs are met.
