Moving to clean energy and away from fossil fuels will save $trillions in energy cost. So not accounting for climate change the technology today wins over fossil fuel. However clear energy is evolving quickly to better and lower cost. Vote for folks who promote investment in clean energy for infrastructure and R and D.

We set a goal to land on the moon in ten years. I would advocate 50% reduction in fossil fuel within 7 years.

Note this should include converting to high efficiency heat pumps as well as EV plus electric power generation.

Of course investments will be needed for climate mitigation. However note that clean energy conversation is position return on investment. So should be separate decision process. Climate mitigation for food supply likely should be highest priority for climate change mitigation.
