Most plug in hybrids could average 1000 MPG if plugged in everyday. Many Folks with 110 8 foot away just don’t start the habit of plugging in every day. In your case make sure the plug in hybrid supports L2 or about 35 miles added each hour. Using 110 drops the rate to about 4 so you need 10 hours or so charge per day.
I own an EV but have friends with a plug in hybrid and they routinely get 1000 mpg, but do plug in every night. Good luck.
