Issue is not the teaching of Jesus. Issue is organized religion leaders using fear for power and intolerance of other peoples views. Thomas Paine explained the issue in “The Age of Reason” 1794.
In short the Bible is misquoted and teaching of tolerance, compassion and kindness by Jesus is ignored as is the judge not others but look at your actions
