I own a Tesla with 75000 miles of happy traveling. Yes the Tesla charging network is great and in 2024 any vendor can use it. Also most vendors are expanding fast charging with the Tesla standard. BP purchased $100 million of Tesla fast charging hardware. My guess is by 2025 the charging network for new cars will meet 90% of customers expectations. Note the fast charging rate of even lower priced cars is likely to meet 250 miles in 10 minutes (latest LFP low cost battery capability).
In any case the market share of EV likely will increase from 9% to about 30%, constrained by production ramp. So lots more happy EV owners but lots of gasoline products still selling.
