I have owed Tesla for 3.5 years, 67,000 miles. 100% agree they are fun to drive. You point out an additional benefit that I did not think about but experience every drive. Tranquility would some it up. Quiet and smooth calms my mind.

I would add one warning. When passing on two lane road, pressing the acceleration can jump the speed from 50 Mph to 80 in 2 seconds. A bit to fast for some back country roads. I have never tried the top speed of 140 as none the US roads support this.
