I am 75. Born in Florida. One of my roommates in University of Florida was a Jew from Miami. He taught me to play handball. He would spot me one point and beat me 21 to 1 every game. Thank you Berry for the gift of time, I did become better at handball. I worked with colleagues from Israel while at Intel. About 30% of my contacts. I went to Israel early in my career for a company selling instruments.
I don’t understand the hate for Jews. I never meet anyone that gave me any hint of evil.
As to some my southern rebels that is a different story.
We are close cousins, Jewish folks and Christian. Compassionate and helping the poor are part of core values for both.
Are there 1% of the population that are troublesome in all tribes. Of course.
But from statistics over 75 years, I don’t understand the hate for whole cultures.
Individuals yes.
5% or so of any group are narcissistic. They are the loudest and most destructive. They stop win win activities because they live for win lose.
My money is on win win every time. Look for it.
