I agree gas stations will be under pressure. Going from 100% of vehicles needing gas 100% of the time to EV only needing to charge on long trips is a dramatic change. Only 0.5% of light vehicle trips in the US are over 150 miles.
Also, the transition from gas to EV will likely happen faster for gas vehicles that consume the most fuel.
