How to boost EV sales, new and used:

A simple call to action that can make a big difference.
Ask your representatives to pass a resolution, a nudge not a law, for the EV industry to update transferable battery warranty common practice of 100,000 miles in 2016 to 250,000 miles and 12 years for LFP batteries in 2026. LFP batteries have an expected life of 1,200,000 miles and have a large share of lower priced EV market.
Why do this? It will increase the resale value of EVs and therefore increase EV sales. Once the EV is on the used market after 7 years it will have an advantage over gas vehicles in terms of expected life.
