Habits are elusive. When I go out to eat I will split the meal. At 75 I don’t need as much. Most restaurants serve too much even when I was younger.
Eating many small meals- grab a handful of nuts , eat a random apple. Helps to sync what I want to what I need.
Having said that I am lazy about veggies so often toss good intentions. I know buy what you will eat each day.
5 minute stop at the store. Still that’s a new habit….maybe someday
