First the expected life of EV batteries lithium cobalt nickel have an expected life of 300,000 to 500,000 miles. The lower cost Lithium Iron Phosphorus batteries expected life exceeds 700,000 mile. Battery replacement cost should not be a worry especially given battery warranty exceed 100,000 miles.

In the US less than 0.5% of light vehicle trips are over 150 miles. My point is public charging is nice but it is not in the critical path for sales growth.
