First I am sad to report that Elon Musk is stupid. Of course I first have to define stupid. A visiting Italian Professor at UC Berkeley wrote the book on stupid. His definition is stupid people advocate for policies that hurt society and them. So no polio vaccines would be a good example. But back to Musk embrace of Trump hate. Tesla vehicle fans in EU took weeks to react to Musk pushing hate candidates in the EU. So Tesla sales drop by 60 to 80% in France, Spain etc Yes some due to new car transition model Y but only part. The loss of market is permanent until Tesla no longer equals Musk. Ditto for US west coast. Mass hysteria is dangerous right?

Well it is only customer perception and good will, the car is still really good right?
Well yes and no. I thought of buying my 4th Tesla but realized the company could go bankrupt at a really fast pace, so buy a car with no service support? Nope.
