Exceptions for religion in the public square (hobby lobby) are wrong and a slippery slope. You won’t serve gays because they offend your religion. Ok abortion is illegal so you were pregnant but did not deliver but claim it was a miscarriage. I don’t believe you so you are evicted from rental. Or you are my employee so I fire you as I can’t have someone who offends my religious beliefs…
Or I evict or or fire you because I claim a religious reason but really that is made up to reject someone of a different religion
