Everyone knows the pace of technology development is going faster. Computer aided design and simulation is more advanced and AI has joined the engineering tool kit. So for example Tesla invented new materials to enable a new manufacturing process and has 2X the margins of nearest competitor. Or look at the pace of your cell phone evolution.

For us in consumer land and voting for our future we need to purchase clean energy friendly devices, replace gas with EV, purchase heat pumps to replace end of life gas or oil furnaces, vote for and support candidates who support clean energy development policies and government funded research.

The engineering eco system will pay dividends, the capitalist system with a nudge toward the greater good, all represent hope.
