“Enormous cost of desperate climate action”. Clean energy is now cheaper than gas or coal for electric power generation. The strong trend is to lower cost for wind solar and batteries. EV are already lower in life cycle costs then gas or diesel. The shift to EV will save $trillions per year in transportation costs in the US. At least to me saving money is not desperate, it is common sense.
