Did you know Tesla SW plans where to charge, how long and lets you know if the charging destination has open ports.

Of course I am giving you a state of Washington point of view where gas price is high and electric power cheap.

I took a 200 mile trip to a beach hotel and was surprised they had several level 2 charge points. So plugged and and went sleep, woke up with a full charge. Let’s see home charging the first 200 miles fuel cost $5.30. Going home fuel cost $0.00. Not bad 400 miles for $5.30.

Your EV experience depends on your location and the EV selected.

Having said that what is truly needed is EV batteries at half the price and path to 3X the range. So 900 miles for $5,500.
Is it possible? Maybe with solid state or high density Silicon anodes or Li Sulfur 3D graphene or Li air.

My odds on favorite
