Investments are shifting to EV not gas. 2. Gas eco system will decline and this could spike gas price depending on pace of loss in gas demand. As gas refineries are taken off line and gas stations close to keep. A profitable overhead, the industry might decide to milk the market knowing the demand loss is inevitable regardless of price (because EV production rate is limited) . That will set the price higher, making the decline of gas vehicles certain but maximize gas industry profits.
