Can you ask your contacts if the Ukraine military has tested using thermal shock to destroy rail lines? Steel becomes weak if subjected to thermal shock, dragons breath would be enough. The cost of drone flying low over rail lines and guided by video control and dropping small amounts of fire every 100 meters or so might be a cost effective way to render rail traffic shut down for a bit. It likely would take out a few trains as well.
