Battery technology press release from the labs is continuous. Cheaper, better are good bets. Anyone’s guess as to which battery techs will make it to EV mass production. Likely more than one. So 10 years from now Battery cost drops from $20,000 to $5000 and range doubles. Or 200 mile range for $500 and charge in 5 minutes.
So what happens to consumer acceptance? My guess is gas cars end of life becomes sooner and % of sales 99% EV.
