At some point the perception of EV will shift. What is the tipping point for fast charging infrastructure in the U.S. perhaps a 2 year build out of NACS standard by all vendors. What is the tipping point for price performance of batteries. It appears to be a race for different market segments with high Silicon density anodes, sodium batteries, LFP evolution all in initial production and likely to hit tipping point of good enough, cheap enough that consumers believe EV or ICE are equal choice. Solid state a dark horse in the race. At that point one Middle East war disruption of oil will drive EV demand past factory capacity.
No one knows which vendor will be left standing. Maybe the one with a better sound system…
