Agree consumers need to embrace EVs over gas and diesel based on their needs and preferences.
In the US < 0.5% of light vehicle trips are over 150 miles. A 300 mile range with 10 minute charge from 10% to 80% might exceed expectations. Or not. The industry will test or temp the market with continuous improvements.
By the way the theoretical energy density of Li Air is about the same as gasoline. That of course is in early stages of development (10 to 20 years away). My guess that won’t be needed for light vehicles.

In any case the developments are interesting
