60% of EV purchases are for a fun to drive experience. If it was for mostly for climate change the most popular EV Tesla would the cheapest which is also most efficient.

Ok what happens when EV sales soar due to these hedonistic motivations? Investments to make better and cheaper EV accelerate. Where are they trending? To lighter more fuel efficient $25,000 or less EV within 2 years. So EV sales match iPhone , one per person, so what. Well oil profits decline driving the risk of yet another $2trillion war to zero. Pollution drops so fewer medical costs. All because for folks want a fun to drive car. That motivation won’t change but isn’t it better for EV sales to grow given that US mpg average grew due purchase trends to trucks and SUVs? Isn’t 100 mpg average better than 25?
